A New Journey Begins

Hello. My name is Matt. Most people call me Matty.

I'm a photographer, creator, dreamer, wanderer..sometimes writer...artist. I have a tremendous amount of love and passion for seeking out inspiring places that make you feel small. Places that force a perspective upon you that reminds us that we are only a part of the puzzle...not THE part.

Finding that truth in these grand, faraway places, which in turn helps me find my own truth...is what drives me. Drives me to wander, to capture moments, to create...feeling. I'm so grateful and inspired by so many humans throughout my life so far. I'm looking forward to finding and meeting many more throughout my journey of this One Life!

I’ve lived a lot of lives that I'm so grateful for. So many lessons, so many feelings, so many adventures. But for me...becoming a photographer has been the greatest adventure yet! I can’t wait to show you some moments that I've captured, or rather..have captured me.

Over the last year or so I decided I wanted to travel and wander and create in as many places around the globe as I can. I sold or got rid of most of my things. On September 26th, 2023 I started this adventure...of a lifetime. A journey with an unknown end. But, a journey to capture as many moments, in as many places I can find myself in. I'm writing this from my hotel room here in the Faroe Islands...my first stop! It's a helluva beautiful, wild place! And I can’t wait to show you what I see and feel here.
